"Immersion in water symbolizes a return to the pre-formal,
a total regeneration, a new birth, for immersion means a dissolution
of forms, a reintegration into the formlessness of pre-existence, and emerging
from the water is a repetition of the act of creation in which form
was first expressed."
- Mircea Eliade
Although bodywork and movement in water is not widely practiced, it is the most natural way to transform, rehabilitate, and grow. Our entire body and brain were formed in the warm amniotic water of the womb. This embryonic process became the template for all our future transformation and growth. Water provides a dynamic, nurturing, and supportive environment for bodywork and movement. It invites us to dissolve old patterns and create new ways of being.
